The production of aluminium tubes is based on aluminium disks with a high degree of finenness. To achieve the necessary surface roughness, the first step is the abrasion of the disks. Afterwards, the abraded disks are plated with zink-stearate, which serves as lubricant during back-flowing.

 
The mouth of the tube can be formed from the material of the tube, or a separately mounted plastic unit.
Pikopack tube To ensure perfect closing, the foot of the tubes (where they are sealed after being filled up) is equipped with a latex ring. The last step is the mounting of the cap, made of polythene and polyurethane through die-casting.
